I'm Christopher Els, a childhood cancer survivor. On 23 May 2027 I'll run the Cape Town Marathon, and every one of the 42 kilometres funds a dream for a child living with a life-threatening illness. Every rand goes to Reach For A Dream.
Each tile is a kilometre of the marathon and the dream it pays for. Each dream funded lights up another kilometre. Fund a full tile, or chip in toward the next one.
Since 1988, Reach For A Dream has fulfilled over 30 000 dreams for children aged 3–18 facing life-threatening illnesses. Every day, seven more dreams come true across the country. A child finds strength again. A family breathes a little easier. Hope returns. Corporates that participate will be able to receive a Section 18A tax certificate.
