I'm Christopher Els, a childhood cancer survivor. On 23 May 2027 I'll run the Cape Town Marathon, and every one of the 42 kilometres funds a dream for a child living with a life-threatening illness. Track every rand as it comes in.

Reach For A Dream fulfils the dreams of children aged 3–18 living with life-threatening illnesses. A dream fulfilled builds hope and courage, and gives a child something powerful to fight for through treatment.
I'm Christopher Els, a childhood cancer survivor, and previous Reach For a Dream recipient when I was 5 years old. I know what it means to face treatment as a kid, and what a single dream can do for hope. Running 42 km is my way of paying that hope forward, 42 times over.
