Dreams give children the strength to fight

Since 1988, Reach For A Dream has fulfilled over 30 000 dreams for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Every day, seven dreams come true across the country. Every dream is unique, and every dream is important. Whether a child dreams of owning something they’ve always wanted or having an experience they’ve never had before, these moments show children that life still holds joy, wonder, and possibility.

Doctors and parents share that a dream fulfilled lifts an ill child’s spirit and alleviates stress. Dreams increase happiness and even support treatment response. When a dream comes to life, something shifts.

A child finds strength again. A family breathes a little easier. Hope returns.
